I’m fangirling because this person noticed my post about them!!!

Nine days ago I started a challenge set by Alex Hormozi in his training on acquisition.com to spend 100 minutes on content every day for 100 days.

Every day (except Sunday per my religion) I will be doing this challenge and sharing what I learned that you can apply.

Day Eight:

It’s 6:34 am and I’m writing you from Florence.

It’s just me and some person in in their mid twenties with the holey-est (as in it has a lot of holes in it) t shirt ever. In my head I’m calling it the Swiss cheese shirt 🧀.

I'm supposed to be interviewing knocks on wood profusely a best selling author today at 5:00pm. I can't wait to tell you about it tomorrow.

Here’s what I made:

Time spent: 305 minutes

In progress inspired by Hello World

What I made:

  • 4 Tik toks (60 minutes)

  • 1 blogs (30 minutes)

  • 1 posts for my poetry page (25 minutes)

  • 3 LinkedIn Posts (30 minutes)

  • Instagram reel and stories (30 minutes)

  • Additional emails and posting on different pages (20 minutes)

  • Working on social currency conversion metrics for resource or blog post (30 minutes)

Struggles:

Still no strangers applying for my blog, I’m testing ads every day though and I’m sure I’ll get there.

The song I wanted to make a lyric video for on Instagram wasn’t available on the platform, so I’ll have to wait to fully test my idea :(.

Only read this part if you're interested in the value $ of a follower

Also in terms of the social metrics I'm creating. I looked to currency exchange for inspiration. I've put my workings below if you can make sense of them and have any ideas let me know.

I think there need to be different formulas for short form and long term content which I was trying to figure out.

I wonder if it's worth looking into the black market to compare the social media's to actual money, I imagine the problem here is there are no available and credible averages.

Let's talk about breaks

I spent a lot of yesterday travelling and although I was productive in the morning from 7-3. I've been working 12-14 hour days in Marano because there's not much else to do but yesterday my brain felt it.

When I got on my bus for Florence at 4:40 my brain finally fried out and I let it, I’d gotten everything I was supposed to get done, done for the day hours ago.

I knew I needed to stop the same way I know when I need to go (besides scrambling to make a poetry video at 9pm, just keeping it real with you guys) 😂.

What went well:

Someone I know and messaged 1:1 has already submitted a blog in to me! She’s amazing and I can’t wait to share her story. We’re breaking it into a three part series- I’m obsessed 😍.

I made a Tik Tok sharing three free resources and put it as a LinkedIn video, one of the creators noticed my post and commented. I’ll put the comment below.👇

The Matt Rife Tik Tok is also steadily increasing in views on Instagram, I posted it on there after Tik Tok when I realised no one was talking about it on Instagram yet. I also started making a Tik Tok series on viral trends, which was so fun, I made one on Joe Biden's birthday cake which I'll put below 👇.

1:1

I’ve been talking the past few days about how I’m getting more responses 1:1. Yesterday someone sent me this message which made me really happy.

Key takeaways of the day:

  • Videos may pick up views a few days after initial posting

  • There are always places I will feel stuck in and places I will thrive, but it wouldn’t be fun if I knew I would succeed. The fun is in the risk

  • My social media is improving every day in terms of content. I’ve realised your socials are your scratch paper and they are your sales tool

If you're enjoying this content challenge sign up to my emails to make sure you don't miss a post! You don't wanna miss what happens next because I have little fear of social rejection and the personality of an outgoing American Dad 😂.
