A popular musician noticed my poetry!

Five days ago I started a challenge set by Alex Hormozi in his training on acquisition.com to spend 100 minutes on content every day for 100 days.

Every day (except Sunday per my religion) I will be doing this challenge and sharing what I learned that you can apply.

Where I left you last was revealing one of my favourite bestselling authors had agreed to interview with me this Friday for my YouTube channel! You can read about it here.

How day four went

I started day four excited. It was our last day in Milan and it was nice to spend a few hours in the morning working from my phone. It was Saturday so we went to an amazing vintage market and left around 3pm.

While I was walking around with my friends I didn’t make much, so when we got home around 8pm I had a lot to crack on with,  but I did it and I’m proud.

Here’s what I made on day four:

Time spent: 145 minutes

What I made:

  • 6 Tik toks (45 minutes)

  • Tik Tok stories (probably 10 minutes total throughout the day)

  • 3 posts for my poetry page (15 minutes)

  • Posted a blog (45 minutes)

  • 2 LinkedIn Posts (15 minutes)

  • Instagram posts (15 minutes)

I’m still struggling with getting applications for pitch submissions for my blog. I’ve added a pay incentive but they’re still nothing. I’m going to try doing a skit today.

Another one of my Tik Toks got shadow banned immediately, for context that means when I posted it no one could view it because it wasn’t appropriate. I have no idea why. If you want to get into Tik Tok just know this happens all the time and it’s really annoying 😂.

My best performing post of the day was this silly video on who Latin pop star Karol G should date next from a branding perspective.👇

I also found vlogging on my Tik Tok stories got more engagement and was easier than making a separate video each day.

The craziest thing that happened today though is the music artist I was making poetry prompts about noticed and commented on them!

Key takeaways of the day:

  • I need to make my ads more engaging

  • Vlogging on Tik Tok stories is more sustainable for me than editing vlogs

  • Making posts about smaller creators gets them noticed easier
